Tim Walz Receives Hostile Reception at Football Game

(PatriotNews.net) – Minnesota Governor Tim Walz faced an unfriendly crowd at a recent college football game between the University of Michigan and the University of Minnesota. In a video posted on TikTok, fans from the University of Michigan could be heard booing loudly as Walz, who is running as Kamala Harris’s vice-presidential candidate, attended the game.

The video also captured one fan shouting, “Get that b***h out of here,” while others joined in with boos and jeers. Another person in the video can be heard yelling, “Get out of here!” as the crowd reacted negatively to Walz’s presence.

Walz’s appearance at the game happened on the same day that former President Donald Trump was set to attend another high-profile college football matchup between the University of Georgia and the University of Alabama. The Michigan-Minnesota game ended with the University of Michigan narrowly defeating Minnesota, 27-24.

Walz’s attendance at the game comes at a critical time, as Michigan remains a key swing state in the upcoming election. According to a Suffolk/USA Today poll, the race between Trump and Harris is very close, with 48 percent of voters supporting Harris and 45 percent backing Trump. With the poll’s margin of error being 4.4 percent, this leaves the outcome uncertain.

Another poll, from Insider Advantage, showed Trump slightly ahead in Michigan, with 49 percent of likely voters supporting him, compared to 48 percent for Harris.

According to campaign officials, Walz and his wife, Gwen, arrived at Michigan Stadium before noon and took time to speak with students and university officials from both Michigan and Minnesota. Despite his efforts to connect with the crowd, the reaction from some fans made it clear that not everyone in the stadium welcomed him warmly.
