(PatriotNews.net) – In September 2024, Republicans in Pennsylvania and North Carolina registered nearly twice as many voters as Democrats, according to new data from Decision Desk HQ. In Pennsylvania, Republicans added about 61,000 new voters, while Democrats gained nearly 36,000. Much of this success is attributed to conservative activist Scott Presler, who has been focused on registering Amish voters. The Amish community in Pennsylvania numbers around 87,000, and many of them have never voted before.
North Carolina, another important battleground state, saw a similar trend. Republicans there registered over 19,000 voters in September, almost double the number of Democrats. This surge in voter registration is seen as crucial for the upcoming election, especially in these key swing states.
Presler expressed his excitement on social media, noting how Pennsylvania added more Republican voters than any other state. He said, “My heart is singing a tune so loudly, I think the sun, moon, & stars can hear it!”
Both Pennsylvania and North Carolina are crucial to the outcome of the 2024 election. Pennsylvania, in particular, is often considered the key to victory. Former President Donald Trump won the state in 2016 but lost it to President Joe Biden in 2020. A recent poll by Cygnal showed Trump holding a narrow lead over Vice President Kamala Harris in Pennsylvania’s swing counties. The poll also pointed out that many voters in these counties, who had traditionally supported Democrats, seem to be shifting toward the Republican Party.
In addition to Pennsylvania and North Carolina, Republicans saw strong voter registration numbers in other states. For example, in Florida, Republicans registered 60,436 new voters, compared to 36,116 for Democrats. Even in traditionally blue states like California, New Jersey, and Rhode Island, Republicans outpaced Democrats in voter registrations during September.
This surge in voter registration could play a major role in the upcoming 2024 election.
