Biden Open to Trump Prison Sentence After Kamala’s Comment

(PatriotNews.net) – President Joe Biden raised eyebrows this week after hinting that he expects former President Donald Trump to end up in prison. His remarks came during a rally for Vice President Kamala Harris in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Biden’s comments followed Harris’s warning that Trump, if re-elected, would weaponize the Department of Justice against his political rivals.

Speaking at the rally, Biden told the crowd, “This is the same guy who’s been held liable for $83 million for sexual abuse and defamation, the same guy responsible for getting rid of Roe v. Wade, and the same guy facing three more major cases when he loses. And let’s not forget—34 felonies. He’s only had the sentence delayed, but I want to see it go through.” Biden added, “Trump isn’t running for you he’s running to stay out of jail.”

Earlier that day, Harris had joined The Breakfast Club with host Charlamagne tha God to discuss Trump’s potential return to office. She warned that Trump would politicize the Department of Justice, firing independent officials and installing loyalists. “Understand, this goes right to the heart of what a threat to democracy looks like,” Harris said. “Trump would use the DOJ as a weapon against his political enemies.”

Charlamagne responded, “He’s going to lock y’all up if he wins.” Harris nodded and replied, “You should take his words seriously. Journalists, judges none of them would be safe. That’s what dictators do. That’s what happens in other countries.”

The irony, critics argue, is that Trump has already been the target of legal actions from Democratic prosecutors, both at the federal and state levels. Many of these cases, they say, are politically motivated. Trump’s 34 felony charges stem from payments to adult film star Stormy Daniels. Prosecutor Alvin Bragg, backed by billionaire donor George Soros, claims Trump failed to report these payments properly as campaign expenses. However, some experts predict the conviction won’t hold up on appeal.

Adding to the controversy, Biden himself admitted on CNN that his public comments urging the DOJ to prosecute January 6 protesters were “inappropriate.” While he walked back the statement, critics say it shows Biden’s willingness to interfere with the justice system.

The 2024 election may now hinge not only on who wins but also on which side convinces voters that they represent justice—and not revenge.
