ABC Calls Out Harris Over Trump Dance Hoax, Mocks Emergencies

(PatriotNews.net) – Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign team got caught spreading misleading claims about an event involving former President Donald Trump. The confusion took place during a campaign stop in the suburbs of Philadelphia, where Harris’s social media account suggested Trump acted bizarrely by pausing and playing music. But the truth? Trump was responding to medical emergencies in the audience, not behaving strangely.

Here’s what really happened. According to the Associated Press, Trump was holding a town hall-style event, moderated by South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, when things took an unexpected turn. During a Q&A session, someone in the crowd suffered a medical issue. A doctor in the room immediately provided help, causing a brief pause in the event. Shortly after, a second audience member experienced a health emergency, leading Trump to stop the discussion altogether.

Trump made a point to mention the room felt unusually hot, even asking about air conditioning. Rather than pushing forward with more questions, he decided to end the evening on a light note. Trump suggested playing some music for the crowd as they remained seated, hoping to keep the atmosphere calm and pleasant.

But that’s not how Kamala Harris’s team presented it. The Twitter account associated with Harris’s rapid response team, called KamalaHQ, hinted that Trump’s behavior was odd, implying there was something wrong with him mentally. Harris herself joined in on the false narrative, retweeting the post with a sarcastic comment: “Hope he’s okay.”

ABC News later fact-checked the claims spreading across social media. They confirmed Trump’s actions were simply out of concern for the audience. In fact, the report gave him credit for handling the situation well under pressure.

Critics quickly called out Harris for attempting to turn a health-related incident into a political weapon against Trump. The effort aligns with a broader strategy from Harris’s camp and left-leaning media outlets, who have been pushing the idea that Trump is too old for office. Ironically, many of these same voices have dismissed concerns about President Biden’s visible struggles with aging.

Even The New York Times ran with the story, calling Trump’s actions “odd.” Yet, aside from the medical interruptions, there wasn’t anything unusual about what happened.

In the end, the incident says more about Harris’s tactics than it does about Trump.
