Host Eric Bolling Leaves Network After Three Years

(PatriotNews.net) – Newsmax TV host Eric Bolling has ended his nearly three-year stint at the network. Bolling, who hosted the popular show “The Balance” at 8 p.m., confirmed his departure, teasing an announcement about his next career move in the coming weeks.

Both Bolling and Newsmax confirmed the split. He extended gratitude to his audience, who have followed him from his early days in financial journalism. Bolling hinted that his next move is a significant step, something he’s long wanted to pursue.

Bolling’s career has seen its share of controversies. He left Fox News in September 2017 following allegations of sexual misconduct. He joined Newsmax in June 2021, becoming a significant figure on the right-wing network.

Bolling’s departure might not resonate with everyone, but in MAGA circles, it’s notable. His prime-time show “The Balance” was among Newsmax’s most watched. Reports indicate that Bolling and Newsmax mutually agreed to end his show.

A statement on Bolling’s website acknowledged the end of his tenure at Newsmax, emphasizing gratitude for their time together and the work they produced. The statement also emphasized Bolling’s commitment to informing the American public as he embarks on a new path with new partners.

Newsmax, known for its strong support of Donald Trump, saw a boost in viewership after the 2020 election when some Trump supporters turned away from Fox News. However, many eventually returned to Fox. Newsmax also experienced a temporary ratings bump following Tucker Carlson’s departure from Fox in April 2023.

The network faces a defamation lawsuit from Smartmatic, a voting-equipment company, over false claims about its software altering votes in the 2020 election. Bolling has been a vocal supporter of Trump, frequently attacking those who oppose the former president.

In his last show on May 30, Bolling criticized Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg following a jury finding Trump guilty of 34 felonies. Bolling called the situation “insane” and expressed unwavering support for Trump, whom he considers a long-time friend.

While Bolling’s next move remains under wraps, his website promises an announcement soon, highlighting his continued dedication to informing the public with a new team and partners.
