(PatriotNews.net) – Kai Madison Trump, the eldest daughter of Donald Trump Jr., took the stage at the Republican National Convention (RNC) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to talk about her grandpa, former President Donald Trump. She shared her views on how he truly wants the best for America.
After her father introduced her, Kai described her grandpa as a “normal grandpa” who gives his grandchildren “candy and soda” and frequently calls to check on them. She noted that the mainstream media often portrays a different image of him.
“I’m here today to show a side of my grandpa that people don’t usually see,” Kai began. “To me, he’s just a regular grandpa. He sneaks us candy and soda when our parents aren’t looking. He always wants to know how we’re doing in school. When I made the High Honor Roll, he printed out my report card to show his friends how proud he was.”
Kai shared that her grandpa often calls her during school to ask about her golf game. “I have to remind him that I’m in class and will call him back later,” she laughed. “When we play golf, if I’m not on his team, he tries to mess with my head. He’s always surprised when I don’t let it bother me. I have to remind him that I’m a Trump too.”
Despite his busy life and court cases, Kai said her grandpa always asks how she is doing. “He encourages me to push myself and be the best I can be. He sets a high bar, but maybe one day I’ll catch up to him,” she said.
Kai also spoke about the recent assassination attempt on her grandpa at a rally in Pennsylvania. A 20-year-old man opened fire, but thankfully, her grandpa survived.
“On Saturday, I was shocked to hear he had been shot. I just wanted to know if he was okay. It’s heartbreaking that someone would do that,” Kai shared. “Many people have put my grandpa through a lot, but he’s still standing strong. Grandpa, you are such an inspiration, and I love you.”
Kai ended her speech by emphasizing the caring and loving side of her grandpa that the media often ignores. “The media makes my grandpa seem different, but I know who he really is. He truly cares about this country and will keep fighting to Make America Great Again.”
