Teen Employee Found Dead Inside Walmart Oven

(PatriotNews.net) – Police in Halifax, Nova Scotia, are investigating the tragic death of 19-year-old Gursimran Kaur, who was found dead inside a Walmart bakery on Saturday.

The young woman’s mother, who also works at the same Walmart, made the horrifying discovery. After realizing she hadn’t seen her daughter for over an hour, she went looking for her—and found Gursimran’s burned remains inside a walk-in oven.

The family had moved to Canada from India just two years ago, according to the Halifax Maritime Sikh Society. Both mother and daughter were active members of the local Sikh community. “The first time I met the mother was the day this terrible incident happened,” said Satnam Randhawa, a board member from the society, speaking to NBC News. “She was absolutely devastated and in deep pain.”

Police have yet to determine exactly how Gursimran died. “This is a very complex matter, and the investigation is still ongoing,” they said in a public statement.

In the meantime, the Sikh community is rallying around the family. They have started a fundraiser to bring Gursimran’s father and 10-year-old brother from India to Canada to be with the grieving family. So far, the GoFundMe campaign has raised over 80,000 Canadian dollars.

The Walmart store where the tragedy occurred has been temporarily closed. Company officials have expressed sorrow over the incident. “We are heartbroken, and our deepest thoughts are with our associate and their family,” said a spokesperson for Walmart. “Our focus is on supporting our associates and making sure they have the help they need.”

The company also confirmed they are cooperating with the ongoing police investigation. “As police have stated, this is a very complex matter,” the spokesperson added.

The community continues to wait for more details as investigators work to uncover what happened. For now, the focus remains on supporting the family during this incredibly difficult time.
