He told the crowd that communism is the single greatest threat to America in its 250-year history. Trump framed the fight for religious liberty as central to that battle, telling faith leaders that the country’s founding values are under direct attack from the radical left.

Trump reminded the audience of what he called real wins from his first term. He said his administration restored conscience rights for doctors, nurses, and faith groups. He specifically cited the Little Sisters of the Poor, a group of Catholic nuns who spent years fighting government mandates that violated their beliefs. ^[2] Trump also said he stopped the IRS from using the Johnson Amendment — a law that restricts what pastors can say from the pulpit — to silence churches.

A New Task Force to Fight Anti-Christian Bias

Trump announced plans for a new federal task force focused on anti-Christian discrimination. Protecting Gains That Could Easily Be Reversed

Trump warned the crowd that the progress made for religious freedom is fragile. ^[3] He said the wrong leader in the White House could wipe out those gains quickly. He pointed to the Biden years as proof, claiming that protections his first term put in place were rolled back almost immediately.
