Ex-District Judge Accuses Stormy Daniels of Targeting Trump for Conviction

(PatriotNews.net) – Stormy Daniels is facing accusations of targeting Donald Trump for conviction by a former district judge.

The ex-adult film star testified about her alleged 2006 hotel encounter with Trump. Legal analysts have criticized her remarks as damaging to her credibility.

Former U.S. District Judge Shira Scheindlin commented that Daniels appeared to have a personal agenda to get Trump convicted.

Scheindlin also warned that Daniels’ testimony could turn the jury against her.

CNN legal analyst Elie Honig echoed Scheindlin’s sentiments, highlighting Daniels’ public disdain for Trump, which could undermine her credibility.

Trump has pleaded not guilty to falsifying business records in connection with payments made to Daniels.

Trump faces 34 felony charges related to falsifying business records, which allegedly aimed to conceal damaging stories that could have impacted his 2016 presidential campaign.

In Trump’s hush money trial, the judge denied a request to declare a mistrial following Daniels’ testimony alleging a nonconsensual sexual encounter with Trump.

Daniels faced combative questioning from Trump’s attorneys during her testimony. She made light of certain topics and even joked about others.

The trial continues with Daniels’ testimony being a focal point.

The judge also found Trump in contempt of court and imposed an additional fine of $1,000 for making public comments about the trial. The judge sternly cautioned the former president about the potential for imprisonment for any future violations.

Daniels completed her testimony on May 9th. Despite efforts by Trump’s attorneys, the judge rejected their request to remove Daniels from the gag order that prevents Trump from discussing witnesses and jurors involved in the case.

Daniels testified to her 2006 encounter with Trump with ease, displaying a humorous tone at times.

She recounted details of the alleged encounter, including Trump’s advances and her discomfort.

Trump’s legal team sought to portray Daniels’ animosity towards Trump and her desire to see him jailed.

Daniels admitted she had no knowledge of Trump’s business records or the charges he faced.
