(PatriotNews.net) – On Wednesday, social media was buzzing with photos of President Joe Biden wearing a red “Trump 2024” hat. This unusual sight happened while Biden was speaking to firefighters in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, the site where United Flight 93 crashed on September 11, 2001.
The hat caught everyone by surprise, especially since it came less than a day after Donald Trump made a joke about giving Vice President Kamala Harris a “MAGA” hat during the presidential debate. Trump joked that Harris had copied some of his ideas, like his proposal to remove taxes on tips. He quipped, “I was gonna send her a MAGA hat. She’s gone to my philosophy. But if she ever got elected, she’d change it.”
So, naturally, people started wondering if Biden was mocking Trump or Harris by wearing that hat. After all, during the debate, Trump claimed that Democratic elites had staged a coup against Biden in July, pushing Harris to the top. He said, “He got 14 million votes, and they threw him out of office. And you know what? I’ll give you a little secret. He hates her.”
Was Biden trolling Trump? Or was he expressing his frustration with Harris? Many were trying to figure out why the president would wear a hat that supports his political rival. But there’s also the possibility that Biden wasn’t in on the joke at all.
Some think he may have been tricked. Journalist Dom Lucre wrote, “A firefighter tricked Joe Biden into wearing a Trump hat. This has to be one of the greatest trolls in political history. No joke.”
If Biden really did get pranked by a firefighter, it would be one for the history books. It’s certainly possible, especially considering Trump had also visited the Shanksville Volunteer Fire Department that same day. The crowd there seemed much happier to see him.
In the end, this strange incident has people talking about Trump’s unexpected public relations win, and it all revolves around one possibly clueless, or perhaps bitter, 80-year-old president.
