Trump Secures Endorsement from Muslim Leaders

(PatriotNews.net) – At a rally in Novi, Michigan, several Muslim community leaders publicly backed former President Donald Trump, saying he offers a pathway to peace and stability, especially in the Middle East and Ukraine. Speaking at the event, Imam Belal Alzuhairi expressed his hope that Trump could help bring an end to ongoing conflicts, noting, “He promises peace, not war.” Alzuhairi said they support Trump for his potential to end “bloodshed around the world” and bring stability to regions in crisis.

Alzuhairi also emphasized that the Muslim community’s support goes beyond Trump’s international promises. He spoke of Trump’s commitment to “family values” and his stance on keeping a “strong border.” These issues, Alzuhairi stated, resonate deeply with many in the Muslim community who believe in conservative family principles and legal pathways for immigration. “We believe anyone who wants to come here should do so legally,” Alzuhairi added, aligning with Trump’s call for secure borders and controlled entry.

Alzuhairi made clear his personal belief that Trump has a unique purpose in public life, saying, “I believe God saved his life for a reason—to save others.” He described Trump as a leader who supports the well-being of all Americans, regardless of background or faith, and who will protect children and families, especially concerning school curricula.

This endorsement highlights a shift in some Arab American and Muslim American communities, who have recently voiced frustration with the current administration’s approach to the Israel-Hamas conflict in Gaza and the broader unrest in Lebanon. These leaders see Trump as someone who might address these concerns in a meaningful way.

This recent show of support follows endorsements from other influential Arab and Muslim figures. For example, Hamtramck Mayor Ameer Ghalib recently showed his support for Trump. However, other notable figures, like Dearborn Mayor Abdullah Hammoud, have chosen to remain neutral, encouraging voters to choose based on personal values.

In recent polling by the Arab American Institute, Trump showed an increase in support from likely voters in these communities, with a close margin of 46 percent to Vice President Kamala Harris’s 42 percent, highlighting an important shift in the political landscape.
