(PatriotNews.net) – Billionaire investor Mark Cuban recently shared his thoughts on former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris during an interview on MSNBC’s “Deadline.” According to Cuban, Trump is a “salesperson,” while Harris acts more like a “good CEO.”
Cuban explained that Trump knows how to talk a big game and sell ideas, but that doesn’t mean he actually follows through or gets the job done. He mentioned that Harris has a different approach, using an example of how she communicated with the Carrier company to show her leadership style. Cuban pointed out that Trump tends to rely on threats, like when he warned John Deere with a 200% tariff. Cuban believes moves like that hurt American businesses instead of helping them, because they make it easier for foreign companies, like those in China, to compete.
On the other hand, Cuban said Harris takes a more supportive approach. Instead of threatening companies, she offers ways to help them grow, like providing tax incentives and making it easier for businesses to borrow money. He compared the two approaches by saying Trump is like a hammer, while Harris is like a carrot, helping businesses thrive rather than hitting them with harsh policies.
Cuban also touched on how Trump can be impulsive when it comes to policy. He criticized Trump for making quick decisions without much thought. In contrast, Cuban praised Harris for carefully considering her policies. He said her team takes the time to make sure the ideas aren’t just good-sounding slogans but solid policies that can actually work.
When Cuban spoke to Harris, she told him that her policies have been thoroughly vetted and are important to her. She doesn’t just say what people want to hear, like a salesperson. Instead, Cuban called her a “good CEO” who is focused on doing what’s best for the country and its future.
Cuban believes moves like that hurt American businesses instead of helping them, as they create opportunities for foreign competitors.
